The pause that carries
Isabell Kargl-Meise
What happens in the moment that withdraws from conscious allowing and doing – the breath pause, silence, the not-singing, the not-playing? This moment is not empty. It carries, it gives form – if we let ourselves perceive it as such. The workshop asks: how does the breath pause become a place of presence and listening? And how does what we find there move on into expression? Into music?
Moving between small and large
Chiara Guglielmi
Being in a small movement helps us focus on precision and inner awareness. Being in a large movement helps us sense and clarify directions. How can we stay organic while moving between small and large, and back again?
The connecting quality of rotations
Undine Beck
In ATT we explore the spaces of breath and sound—both inner and outer. How do rotations connect these spaces? How do cyclical breathing, flowing movements, and rotating joints influence sound? In this workshop, we bring rotation to life: from the horizontal to the vertical (and back), with a focus on scale, speed, and flow.
Spaces and tonicity = resistance.
Silvia Biferale
The infinite relationships between internal and external spaces can develop the tonicity that serves the voice and gesture. Expressive intention develops within relationships, the resistance is a matter of them.
Cultivating Ease in the Voice – Listening to Breath, Body, and Mind
Nora Hälg
With our mind, we become aware that we are supported. Through physical contact with the ground, we develop trust and allow the breath to unfold. By exploring the directions of the out-breath, balance emerges in breath and muscular tone. Ease and freedom in vocal expression can arise.
Diaphragms
Christoph Habegger
Horizontal planes run through our bodily spaces. They separate and connect, protect and stabilise. Whilst they are partly beyond our conscious control, we can access them through our perception of weight, contraction, release and expansion, as well as through the vibrations of breath and sound.
